PxD Internship Program

The Precision Development (PxD) Internship Program offers an immersive career-specific experience lasting two to six months. It provides interns with valuable, hands-on exposure to working within an international organization.

Our program is designed to help interns build on their foundational knowledge, develop key professional skills, and experience significant personal growth through active participation in impactful projects and mentorship.

What we offer

Compensation

At PxD, we believe in fairly compensating our interns for their contributions. Depending on the internship’s terms, all interns will receive hourly or monthly compensation.

Professional Development

You will be assigned to a country/program team based on your internship interests, goals, and qualifications. This will allow you to work on various projects and build and refine your professional skills while gaining valuable work experience and insights.

Mentorship

Each intern will be paired with a dedicated mentor from the PxD team. Your mentor will provide guidance, feedback, and support to help you achieve your professional development goals during the internship.

An opportunity to build professional networks

Throughout your internship, you’ll have the chance to interact with team members from different departments and projects. This will enable you to expand your professional network and gain diverse perspectives within the organization.

Frequently asked questions for Internships

  • To ensure you gain the most from your internship, we require a minimum commitment of:
    • 8 weeks, working 35-40 hours per week for internships during university terms
    • 12 weeks, working 10 hours per week for internships outside the university term
  • Yes, PxD firmly believes that interns should be compensated for their work. We offer an hourly or monthly stipend based on PxD’s pay scale, which is adjusted to our intern’s location. We always meet national minimum wage standards. If the candidate’s university provides a stipend for the PxD internship, PxD will either waive our stipend if it matches our minimum or top it up if it falls short of our scale.
  • Most internships will be remote, but some travel and in-person meetings may be required depending on the role’s nature and project needs.
  • Post-internship employment depends on the availability of open positions and funding within PxD. All available roles will be posted on the Careers page. While we cannot guarantee employment after the internship, we value our interns and encourage those who excel to apply for future roles.
