Abraham Salomon is PxD’s Senior Program Manager in Kenya. He has worked on agricultural research and development projects in Eastern Africa for over 13 years. He has also been the in-country lead for University of California, Davis projects, including ‘Innovations in Dry Season Horticulture’ and ‘Increasing the Capacity of Smallholder Farmers to Produce and Market Vegetable Crops in Uganda’ as part of the USAID Innovation Lab for Horticulture. He has also led research consultancies for the World Bank on irrigation adoption among smallholder farmers, and managed nation-wide surveys into irrigation and agro-processing practices for Columbia University. Abraham has also led the development of an innovative irrigation-as-a- service company for smallholder farmers (Agriworks Uganda). He holds a BSc in Community and Regional Development from the University of California, Davis.

Prior to joining PxD, David served as J-PAL's Director of Finance and Operations for over 12 years during a period of considerable growth around the world. David's skills lie in the areas of financial management, systems development, and funds management for non-profit organizations. Many, many years ago David started his career with the US Peace Corps in Morocco, where he ended up staying for 5 years. David holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the US.

She is passionate about mentoring smaller nonprofits and building their capacity.
