Shwetha Bharath is a Research Associate at the Behaviour Change Advisory Services LLP (Technical Partner in India). She holds a B.A. in Psychology, Sociology and Economics from Christ University and a postgraduate diploma from Ashoka University. She has experience designing and carrying out quantitative research in the areas of gender, mental health and climate change. Before joining PxD, Shwetha worked in the Behavioral Development Lab at J-PAL South Asia.

Raashid Shah is a Data Associate at the Behaviour Change Advisory Services LLP (Technical Partner in India). He holds an MSc in Computational Social Science, specialising in Computational and Mathematical Economics, from the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur and a BA Hons in Economics from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Prior to joining PxD, Raashid worked as a Data Consultant at the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago where he assisted in multiple projects related to environmental data and the development of decision support systems for air quality management.

Anwesha Mallick is a Research Associate at the Behaviour Change Advisory Services LLP (Technical Partner in India). She holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Calcutta and an M.Sc. from Symbiosis School of Economics. Her previous work as a researcher at the Centre for Policy Research focused on public policy in the areas of education, public finance, and urban development. She has also interned with Tata Steel Rural Development Society, where she worked on projects related to the education of ethnic groups in rural Jharkhand.

Jagannath (Jagan) is the Research Manager at the Behaviour Change Advisory Services LLP (Technical Partner in India). He holds a BA Economics Degree from Loyola College and an MPP from the National Law School of India University. Before joining PxD, Jagan spent time at Development Solutions, the Good Business Lab, and LEAD at Krea University, overseeing large-scale RCTs and evaluations on topics ranging from gender-based violence to worker well-being to education.

Fetiha Jemal is PxD's Finance Associate in Ethiopia. She holds a BA in Accounting from Adama University and is also a Certified International Project Manager (CIPM). Prior to joining PxD, Fetiha worked at the Austrian Embassy Development Cooperation, and has also held different finance positions in various nonprofits, including ActionAid International and the Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia.

Anjaney Singh is a Senior Research Associate at the Behaviour Change Advisory Services LLP (Technical Partner in India). He holds a BA Honors in Economics from Christ University, Bengaluru and a MSc in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Prior to joining PxD, Anjaney worked as a Research Associate at the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago where he assisted with the multiple projects in the energy and environment space. Anjaney has also worked with WRI India as a Consultant where he worked on an agroecology project.

Shreyanshi Singh is a Program Associate at the Behaviour Change Advisory Services LLP (Technical Partner in India). She holds a Master's Degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi and a Bachelor's Degree (Honours) in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR), Delhi University. Shreyanshi has previously worked with State Governments of Jammu & Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh in areas of Program Management, Policy Research, Data Analysis etc. She has also volunteered with an NGO in rural Rajasthan. Her interests lie in Gender and Livelihoods, Tech for Social Impact, Development Economics and Strategy Planning and Implementation.

Prior to joining PxD, he was associated with CII as an Empanel Assessor for the NSDC skill development program and has also worked with various non-profit organizations in accounting and HR.

Abraham Salomon is PxD’s Senior Program Manager in Kenya. He has worked on agricultural research and development projects in Eastern Africa for over 13 years. He has also been the in-country lead for University of California, Davis projects, including ‘Innovations in Dry Season Horticulture’ and ‘Increasing the Capacity of Smallholder Farmers to Produce and Market Vegetable Crops in Uganda’ as part of the USAID Innovation Lab for Horticulture. He has also led research consultancies for the World Bank on irrigation adoption among smallholder farmers, and managed nation-wide surveys into irrigation and agro-processing practices for Columbia University. Abraham has also led the development of an innovative irrigation-as-a- service company for smallholder farmers (Agriworks Uganda). He holds a BSc in Community and Regional Development from the University of California, Davis.

Jinu is currently an Investment Director at ICP Infrastructure. Before joining ICP, Jinu was a Senior Economist and Head of ESG Analytics at Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), which manages Norway’s USD 1.4 trillion sovereign wealth fund. Jinu was previously with the U.S. Treasury where she served as the U.S. Financial Attaché to India. She has a broad range of policy and research experience from working with the World Bank, the Gates Foundation, and Innovations for Poverty Action.

David Sears is PxD's Chief Financial Officer. He is also a Senior Advisor to the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at MIT and serves on the Board of Teaching at the Right Level/Africa. Prior to joining PxD, David served as J-PAL's Director of Finance and Operations for over 12 years during a period of considerable growth around the world. David's skills lie in the areas of financial management, systems development, and funds management for non-profit organizations. Many, many years ago David started his career with the US Peace Corps in Morocco, where he ended up staying for 5 years. David holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the US.

Gagandeep Kaur is the Head of Programs at the Behaviour Change Advisory Services LLP (Technical Partner in India). She holds a BA Honors in Economics from the University of Delhi and an MBA with a specialization in Finance from FORE School of Management, Delhi. After 17 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, both in India and overseas, she chose to shift to the development sector and has worked in the education space for close to 8 years where she was an integral member of the leadership team, working on setting direction, translating mission into operating plans, and managing all functions related to monitoring & research and evidence building for programs. She is passionate about mentoring smaller nonprofits and building their capacity.

Freyhiwot Nadew is PxD's Country Director for Ethiopia. She holds a MA in Mass Communications from the University of Leicester, UK. Prior to joining PxD, she worked as a Communications and Information Manager at the Danish Refugee Council/Ethiopia Migration Programme. She has also previously worked with the Centre for Innovative Drug Development and Trail for Africa CDT Africa/Addis Ababa University, Farm Radio International, and Save the Children. She also has also worked as a Media and Communications Consultant for various international organization including different UN agencies.

Supriya Ramanathan is a Program Manager and Grants Lead at the Behaviour Change Advisory Services LLP (Technical Partner in India). She holds an LLM in Energy and Natural Resources Law from Queen Mary University of London, UK, and a BA. LLB (Hons) from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She has experience in program design, implementation, and gender mainstreaming having worked with nonprofits and donors in areas such as climate change, governance, and prison reforms. Prior to joining PxD, she worked in program roles at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and the UNDP.
