Supriya Ramanathan is PxD’s Program Manager for India. She holds a LLM in Energy and Natural Resources Law from Queen Mary University of London, UK and a BA. LLB (Hons) from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She has experience in program design, implementation and gender mainstreaming having worked with nonprofits and donors in areas such as climate change, governance and prison reforms. Prior to joining PxD, she worked in program roles at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and the UNDP.

Nicholas Milne is PxD’s Director of Development. He holds an MSc in International Business and Development from the University of London and a BA (Hons) from the University of Manchester. He has more than 10 years’ experience leading global partnerships, development and fundraising to support a range of social and environmental issues across a variety of sectors including agriculture, education, retail, mining, and technology. He has worked for leading not-for-profits, Save the Children, British Red Cross, Plan UK, CARE International, Farm Africa and Youth Business International, co-founded a social enterprise in responsible consumption and supported social enterprises in Colombia, Nepal and Scotland.

Sejal Luthra

Sejal Luthra is a PxD's Senior Research Associate in India. She holds a BA Honors in Economics from University of Delhi and a Master in Public Policy, with a specialization in International Development from Michigan State University. She has experience in survey design, field implementation, project management and data analysis. Prior to joining PxD, Sejal worked as a Research Associate at Inclusion Economics India Center (previously EPoD) where she assisted in the implementation of an RCT with SHG women in Chhattisgarh. Sejal has also worked with development organizations like J-PAL, 3ie, Development Alternatives, policy think tanks including CPPR and FDR, and behavior change organizations like Appleseed in the US across different development work streams.

Kamran Khan Niazi

Kamran Khan Niazi is a Research Manager at PxD. He holds a Masters in International Affairs from Geneva Graduate Institute and a Masters in Development Economics from Toulouse School of Economics. Before joining PxD, Kamran worked as a Research Associate with J-PAL on governance and political economy projects. He has also consulted for EGAP, SIDA and the UN Secretariat on several evaluation projects.

Shubham Garg is PxD's Program Associate in India. He holds a Masters degree in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai and a BA degree in History from Hans Raj College, Delhi University. His core interests include project design, program management and agribusiness, and has in the past worked in the agricultural and rural livelihood sectors.

Sara Bekele is PxD’s Data Officer in Ethiopia. She holds a BSc. in Applied Statistics from the Addis Ababa University and an MBA from the Leadstar College of Management and Leadership Plc. Sara has also previously worked in different capacities with the Sub Saharan Research and Training Center, Save the Children, Catholic Relief Service and the Green Professional Service.

Deepak Punia is a Data Engineer at PxD. He holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from GGSIPU, New Delhi. He has a total of 8 years working experience and prior to joining PxD, he worked with different companies such as TCS, ION Trading and D.E Shaw. His primary skills lie in SQL, Linux, automation using Python and DevOps. He enjoys learning and applying new tech skills and has completed several courses available on e-learning platforms such as Udemy and DataCamp.

Billy Diggin joined PxD in December 2021 in the capacity of Executive Advisory, Tech and Product. He holds Bachelor and Master's degrees in Engineering from the University of Limerick and an MBA from The Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin. Billy has diverse commercial experience across pharma, electronics, semiconductor, insurance healthcare and innovation sectors. In the past, he has helped to deliver targeted healthcare into developing countries and continues to work on developing solutions for Parkinson's Disease

Omer Qasim is a Product Manager for Weather Advisory at PxD Pakistan. Prior to joining PxD, he served as the Co-Director of the inaugural Data Collection and Survey Unit at the Center of Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP) and Manager of their Social Compact Program. He has also worked at the International Growth Center (IGC), Institute for Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS), Asian Development Bank (ADB), and Search for Common Ground (SFCG). Omer has previously designed and implemented research pertaining to COVID-19 smart containment, agriculture, urban services and taxation, financial inclusion and education. He is a Fulbright Scholar with a Master’s degree in International Development Studies from George Washington University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).

Dat Nguyen is a Software Engineer at PxD. He holds an MSc in Information Technology and a BS in Computer Engineering from University of Information Technology - Viet Nam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. Prior to joining PxD, he worked as a Software Engineer at DEK Technologies and has experience in the Ericsson 4G IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO). His interests include functional programming, software-defined networking and media access control.

Fatima Fida is a Research Assistant at the Center for Economic Research in Pakistan. Fatima has previously worked in Education Sector Development and was associated with Zindagi Trust where she contributed on projects focused at identifying gaps and improving quality of education in Pakistan. Fatima also runs educational and awareness campaigns in her hometown, Hunza, to increase awareness and motivation among children. She holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and Mathematics from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi and a Master's degree in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).

Prior to joining PxD, Mateo worked as Associate at Instiglio, a non-profit consultancy working to catalyze more effective public and development spending by deploying Results-based Financing strategies and Performance Management systems in developing countries. Mateo has also worked as a Research Assistant for several projects at Universidad de los Andes.

Pallavi Jain is PxD’s Manager- Partnerships and New Programs for India. She holds dual Masters’ degrees in Communication from the London School of Economics & Political Science and Annenberg School of Communication at University of Southern California, and a BA from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University. She has international experience and expertise in design, production, implementation, strategy design and monitoring & evaluation for social change programs. She has also worked on large scale programs to build sustainable solutions to complex social problems with clients such as Nutrition International, Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), Population Foundation of India (PFI), SaveLIFE Foundation, USAID, FICCI, PCI Media and Thinkthrough Consulting. Pallavi is also the Co-Founder & Director of The Change Designers LLP, New Delhi, India, a multi-disciplinary communication organization creating large scale communication campaigns for social development.

Sara holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Yifan Powers is PxD’s Research Manager, Climate. She holds a MA in International Economics and International Development from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in Economics from Boston University. She has worked with smallholder farmers in Zambia, identifying possible interventions to a cotton ginner’s outgrower model, and in India, conducting a needs assessment for a farmer producer cooperative. Prior to joining PxD, she managed communications and outreach at the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center (TPC) and served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the See Forever Foundation in the District of Columbia.

Stephen Obunga is PxD’s Finance and Accounting Manager. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance, and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He has significant experience in compliance reviews, budgeting, auditing, donor reporting, grants and financial management. He previously worked for African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF), DAI Global LLC, International Potato Center (CIP) and ActionAid International.

Dina Rodrigues is a Research Associate at PxD. She holds a MSc. in Economics with a specialization in Development and Trade from the NOVA School of Business and Economics and a BSc. in Economics from Católica-Lisbon SBE, in Portugal. Dina has fieldwork experience in Portugal and Mozambique, having coordinated RCTs in the areas of migration, livelihoods, and labor markets for the Novafrica Research Centre and the International Growth Centre. She has also consulted for the Westminster Foundation for Democracy and the United Nations Office of the Resident Coordinator in Mozambique.
