Yifan Powers

Yifan Powers is PxD’s Senior Research Manager, Climate. She holds a MA in International Economics and International Development from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in Economics from Boston University. She has worked with smallholder farmers in Zambia, identifying possible interventions to a cotton ginner’s outgrower model, and in India, conducting a needs assessment for a farmer producer cooperative. Prior to joining PxD, she managed communications and outreach at the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center (TPC) and served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the See Forever Foundation in the District of Columbia.
