PxD is governed by a Board of Directors, which meets formally three times a year. Past board members include co-founders Michael Kremer, Shawn Cole, Dan Björkegren and Heiner Baumann.
PxD’s mission is to scale innovations that millions of farmers can use to improve their lives.
To achieve this mission, PxD’s Board of Directors provides leadership, oversight, and resources. Our Advisory Group complements this by offering insights, strategic guidance, connections, and innovative ideas to enhance the effectiveness and impact of PxD’s work.
Purpose and Role of the Advisory Group
- To support PxD’s mission: share a commitment to PxD’s mission and vision with a foundational understanding of our services.
- To offer expertise and networks: provide advice, knowledge, ideas, and connections as requested by PxD’s leadership and staff.

- Welcome at events: join occasional gatherings with PxD staff, board members, advisors, partners, and supporters.
